Restoration in Christ
Ministries (RCM) offers training and support to those called to restore lives
shattered by abuse.
This is accomplished in
the following ways:
RCM offers a
broad range of printed material, audio-CDs and video-DVDs designed to bring a
deeper under-standing of abuse issues as well as to train others to recognize
and address the dynamics of dissociation and demonization often present with the
most severely abused.
RCM offers
training seminars custom designed to meet the needs of any particular group.
These are usually one to three days in length and can be introductory in nature
or highly advanced. Role-plays and live demonstrations are often included.
As time is
available, RCM offers one-to-one consultations with therapists, pastors, prayer
ministers, and lay counselors who encounter difficulty in bringing healing to
abuse survivors. These can be conducted by phone or in person.
RCM offers
support to anyone struggling to understand and interact with abuse survivors.
This includes pastors, cell group leaders, spouses, and family members.
Survivors themselves also receive great encouragement and hope from the
resources, seminars, and individual consultations offered. |
